Courtney Clute

About Me

Courtney Clute is a writer and professional. She completed her MFA in fiction at the University of South Florida. She also holds a Professional and Technical Communication Graduate Certificate. At USF, she won the Hirshberg Award for Graduate Achievement. Courtney's flash fiction has been nominated for Best of the Net 2021 and Best Small Fictions 2021 and 2022. She is a reader for Fractured Literary and recently completed a reading residency for SmokeLong Quarterly.

Courtney's chapbook, The Fermi Paradox, was published by Alien Buddha Press in August 2022. Her work has appeared in Passages North, Fractured Literary, Flash Fiction Magazine, The Lumiere Review, Flash Frog, Parentheses Journal, and elsewhere. You can find her on Twitter at @courtney_clute.
